Leakless (India) Engineering
Industrial pumps and mechanical seals, made in Mumbai since 1980
We machine, assemble and test every pump at our own works, and make the mechanical seal that goes inside it. One maker answers for both, on acids, solvents, ammonia and effluent.

About Leakless
A Mumbai works that has made pumps since 1980
Leakless (India) Engineering is a partnership firm in Malad (West), Mumbai. Our works machines, assembles and tests every pump we sell, for chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, refrigeration and effluent plants in India and abroad.
Many pump makers buy their seals in. We make our own, so the seal is matched to the pump and the liquid before it leaves the works, and you deal with one maker if anything ever needs attention.
- 46 years
- Building pumps for chemical plants since 1980.
- Seals made in-house
- 15 models, chosen for the pump and the liquid.
- One team
- The engineer who sizes your pump answers for its seal.

Every pump runs on our test bed
Before dispatch, each pump goes through the same checks, from pressure-testing the casing to measuring seal leakage.
- Hydraulic pressure test of seal, volute casing and casing cover
- Pin-hole porosity check on castings
- Running test for discharge head and flow
- Power and speed (rpm)
- Vibration and noise level
- Bearing housing temperature
- Mechanical seal leakage
- Physical and chemical material certificates from outside labs

Tell us the liquid. We'll size the pump.
Send the liquid, its concentration and temperature, and the flow and head you need. For a seal, the shaft size, speed and pressure. An engineer replies with a recommendation and a quote.
